Beyond a Market
Beyond a Market is a visionary project that re-imagines Bournemouth’s Lansdowne business district as a dynamic hub of community, enterprise, and culture, in response to the brief calling for the revitalisation of this important urban area within the town centre and transforming it into a fresh cultural and community environmental hub.
This project responds to the brief by introducing thematic markets centred around food, art, and stocks. Simultaneously, it revives the office identity of the existing building with dynamic co-working spaces while the rooftop is utilised for evening leisure activities such as outdoor cinema and rooftop bar. Additionally, the project incorporates contextual wall murals, alongside a thoughtfully designed public sculptural plaza celebrating art, sculpture, seasonal festivities as well as holidays. Join on this unforgettable journey of transformation, where community thrives and attracts fortune.
In conclusion, this project isn't just about attracting the masses; it aims to forge a unique connection with the local community. Through a blend of diverse amenities, contextual wall murals, and scupltural plaza, it becomes a haven for local businesses and a catalyst for community engagement.
Kingston Lacy Art Exhibition
Kingston Lacy Art Exhibition it is the result of a brief that was asking for new ways of viewing vintage and ancient artworks frozen in time while basing the design on a modern artist. This project aims to act as a viewing machine that offers a fresh take on how to appreciate art.
Inspired by the selected artist Slavomir Zombek, this project responds to the brief by introducing an exhibition immersing visitors in a captivating journey through time, blending ancient, vintage and contemporary artworks into a modern twist within a maze-themed setting. The exhibition unveils intricate connections between extremely different eras and artists, inviting viewers to explore and discover the nuances of artistic expression spanning from current times to Ancient Egypt.
